คนโง่ ชอบคิดว่า ทุกสิ่งที่หวังเป็นไปไม่ได้

จึงขังตนเองในความเกียจคร้าน

ชีวิตตกต่ำ

คนฉลาด ชอบคิดว่า ทุกสิ่งที่หวังเป็นไปได้

จึงทะยานไปในตัณหาไม่รู้จบ

ชีวิตกระเจิดกระเจิง

คนเจ้าปัญญา ย่อมเห็นว่าในบรรดาสิ่งที่หวัง

บางสิ่งเป็นไปไม่ได้ บางสิ่งเป็นไปได้

ในบรรดาสิ่งที่เป็นไปไม่ได้ทั้งหมดนั้น

บางสิ่งเป็นไปไม่ได้ถาวร บางสิ่งเป็นไปไม่ได้ชั่วคราว

และในบรรดาสิ่งที่เป็นไปได้นั้น

บางสิ่งไม่มีประโยชน์ บางสิ่งมีประโยชน์

เขาจึงปรับความหวังให้สอดคล้องกับความเป็นไปได้ที่มีประโยชน์

และปรับสิ่งเป็นไปไม่ได้ชั่วคราวให้เป็นไปได้มากขึ้น

ชีวิตจึงอยู่กับความหวังและการพัฒนาโดยลำดับ

POSSIBILITY

The foolish think all of their wishes are impossible,

Putting no effort into achieving anything,

Letting their lives slide.

The clever think that all of their wishes are possible,

And fly after their infinite imginations,

Struggling too much with their lives.

The wise realize that some of their wishes are practical, while some are not.

And some of the practical ones are valueble, while some are not.

They focus their energies on the practical and the valuable,

Achieving success in their lives.
